Well, as a Cowboys fan, the cheese is laying there. All melty and gooey and scrumptious looking. Reminds me of a plate of lasagna at Roma’s. The Big Tuna is in my head saying, “Don’t. Don’t you do it. Don’t you eat it…”
GULP.
SNAP.
Man, that Doomsday defense looked good. $60m/year for Dak is a little rich for my blood, but if it leads to me getting my first tattoo. LFG. I was wrong, I take it all back! Jerry WAS all in! The Cowboys are for real, I just know it!
On the other hand, my Moops looked like the Carolina Panthers out there. I definitely ate the cheese on the Caleb Williams’ hype. Sigh.
Yes, it’s overreaction week in fantasy football. How are y’all feelin’?
Auto Picks 149 — Monkeys 130: After several years of not giving a flip, the Auto Picks have rediscovered the joy of following NFL football and have set themselves up with a mighty solid roster. Led by Saquon Barkley (35) and Anthony Richardson (31), the Auto Picks picked up a nice early win over the Monkeys, who had a chance going into Monday night … until Christian McCaffrey waylaid the Monkeys and millions of other fantasy teams all over the world. Cooper Kupp (32) and Stefon Diggs (22) kept it close.
Oh, and by the way, these two clubs pulled off a Week One trade, too! I love it, it’s going to be fun this year!
Heroes 133 — Turtles 118: Another good matchup as the Heroes picked up a week one victory, thanks to Josh Allen (33) and Joe Mixon (29). The Turtles were led by the aforementioned Doomsday Defense (28) and James Conner (20), but were hurt when Puka Nacua was hurt and headed to the early season IR.
Lightning 139 — Brothers 106: The Greased Ones picked up a W, but are suddenly worried at QB after Jordan Love’s late game knee pop. Mike Evans (23) and Breece Hall (21) led the scoring while the Brothers relied on Rhamondre Stevenson (24) and Tua (20).

Bright 1s 172 — Megatron 108: The Bright 1s, as always, look loaded and piled up the points, led by Jayden Reed (35) and Lamar Jackson (29) while Megatron fell well short, despite the Monsters of the Midway D (34) and Patrick Mahomes (16).
Beauty & the Beasts 114 — Corn 96: Beauty picked off last season’s champ in a week one slobber knocker of a battle, surviving with only a combined 18 points from her triumvirate of Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, and Chris Olave, picking up 28 points from the Saints D. The Corn was led by Tyreek Hill’s 29 points (you can’t stop him, you can only hope to detain him) and Deebo Samuel (19).
Midgets 122 — Moops 101: Big Brother picked on Little Brother, with twin 22 point outings from Jalen Hurts and Chris Godwin, while the Mayberry losers were led by the Steelers D (21) and 17 points each from Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice. The Limberger Cheese QB, Caleb Williams tallied … 7.
